European award success for merseyflow team

The team behind merseyflow is celebrating success today as it scoops two prestigious awards at the Oscars of the contact centre industry.

Merseyflow’s parent company, emovis, demonstrated its commitment to its employees and customers by receiving a double award boost at the virtually held European Contact Centre and Customer Service Awards (ECCCSAs) for the UK on Tuesday 16th March.

The team beat tough competition from the likes of Microsoft, BT and HSBC to walk away with a Gold award for Best Contact Centre Support Team for its HR team and a Silver award for Best Employer/Great Place to Work. The team were also delighted to receive a Highly Commended award for Best Voice of the Employee Programme.

The community engagement work merseyflow carries out was also recognised, securing emovis a nomination in the Giving Something Back category as one of emovis’s eight nominations overall.

To date, the merseyflow team has raised over £30,000 for its chosen charity, Halton Haven Hospice, as well as holding annual Easter Egg and Christmas Toy appeals, and sponsoring a number of local sports clubs.

Neil Conway, Chief Executive of merseyflow, said: “I am incredibly proud of the team for their ongoing commitment to providing an excellent service for our customers. Winning awards for Best Contact Centre Support Team and Best Employer is a major coup for merseyflow and shows the dedication of the team in exceptional circumstances. Given all the challenges we – like everyone else across the country – have faced in 2020, it’s great to be able to show the team that their hard work has been recognised in this way.”

Now in its 20th year, the prestigious ECCCS Awards attracts thousands of entries across Europe and is the longest running awards ceremony in the customer contact industry. The awards recognise organisations that value their people, continually innovate to improve the customer experience and operate efficiently and effectively.
